this is actually a left over from the last album but we never quite got it together then. somewhere in there there is the sound of blocks of wood being banged together - times ten - which is an old trick employed by the glitter band in their old records from the 70's. glitter production - they really had a sound going on there ! i think this is a good pop tune..
lyrics
built you up
with a slip of the tongue
and there you were
you had to come
but you can't cut through
saw you out
'til you were done
drowned you out
'til i went numb
drowned you out -
dumb
you can't cut through
and i'm ready now
more than i ever was
what's that far off sound ?
i cannot tell
i cannot tell

I regularly walk around Las Vegas listening to this and when I have downtime at work have also been reading about The Dead People (Shayne has) Known. He has come such a long way and grown so immensely over his long career. I'm really enjoying this album a lot. It has a a lot of feeling and soul to it. Even the photo on the cover has a homey sort of feel to it. Well done. Wendy

I've been enjoying the Bats since Daddy's Highway. They keep doing what they do and I keep enjoying what they do. What else can I say? Bat's entertainment? tideracer
